Ticket Number Format Configuration
In the "Admin" panel of ticket configuration in a Mint Service Desk Cloud system, the "Ticket Number Format" refers to the structure or format used to generate unique identifiers for individual tickets. Each ticket created in the system is assigned a unique ticket number, which facilitates the identification and tracking of the ticket throughout its lifecycle. This configuration allows administrators to define how these identifiers are generated, including the use of prefixes, suffixes, sequential numbers, and other formatting options.
To change the format of the ticket according to your preferences, click the "Edit" button on the right. You can customize information such as:
- Name (Required field)
- Count from (Required field)
- Add field (Optional)
Additionally, you can define a Prefix, select a Date, and set a Counter. These are also required fields. After making the necessary changes, click the "Save" button to apply them. If you decide not to make any changes, click the "Discard" button to cancel.
