Mint Service Desk Cloud 1.16

Release type: Customer Portal and expanded bulk actions

Mint Service Desk Cloud 1.16 introduces the Customer Portal, providing users with a structured way to submit and track requests. The release also extends bulk actions available when working with ticket lists.

🚀 New features

Customer Portal

The new Customer Portal allows users to submit requests using forms configured by the administrator.

Administrators can create dedicated request forms and define:

  • title and description,
  • queue and ticket type,
  • priority,
  • fields visible to the user,
  • required fields.

Request forms can also be grouped into categories, for example IT, HR, Administration, or Facilities, making it easier for users to find the right request without needing to understand the internal service desk structure. Mint Service Desk documentation describes these mechanisms as Cases and Containers.

Users can select the appropriate request, complete the predefined form, submit it, and then track their tickets from the Customer Portal.

This creates a clearer path for submitting requests and allows administrators to control what information is collected for different processes.

Expanded bulk actions

Bulk actions on ticket lists have been extended.

Agents can perform selected operations on multiple tickets at once instead of opening and updating each ticket individually.

This improves efficiency when managing larger groups of tickets that require the same action.

🛠️ Fixes and stability

Version 1.16 also includes minor interface improvements, optimizations, and technical fixes that improve stability and overall system performance.
